U.S. Contracting Procedures: A Guide for Bulgarian Businesses
American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria has published a Business Guide to provide basic information on the procurement procedures and business opportunities related to the US-Bulgaria Joint Training Facilities. The guide is designed to serve Bulgarian companies but also all businesses interested in the economic aspects of the operations of the US Army in the region, Middle East and Europe.
The Guide:
- presents analyses on the US-Bulgaria defense partnership;
- gives detailed description of US Army acquisition processes from the tender to solicitation phase;
- provides instructions for registrations for CCR, DUNS and NATO Cage Code required for participation in the US procurement processes;
- encloses the full text of the US-Bulgaria Defense Cooperation Agreement.
The Chamber believes that the US-Bulgaria Joint Training Facilities will have a positive effect for long-term investments of American companies in our country as well as for establishment of sustainable business contacts between Bulgarian and American companies. The present Guide is in compliance with our efforts to provide Bulgarian companies with a source that could be helpful for their involvement in the modernization and maintenance of the US-Bulgaria Joint Training Facilities.
