Application Procedure

Membership is open to all companies and individuals that demonstrate an interest in fulfilling the purposes of the Chamber and can benefit from its goals and activities. Members shall aim to fulfill the purposes of the Chamber, and shall fully comply with the requirements of the Statutes of the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria and with Bulgarian law.

All applicants are asked to fill in a membership application form, as well as to provide all required documents, namely two written recommendations, of which at least one to be provided by an AmCham member, a copy of a actual legal status certificate, a company profile and an ownership structure. By signing this application the applicant is aware of all legal rights and obligations associated with membership in the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria. 

The membership committee of the Chamber is looking at the applicants eligibility and is proposing them to the Board of Directors of the Chamber for a formal acceptance.

Membership start date is considered as of the first of the month following approval by the AmCham Board of Directors. New members are sent formal letters of acceptance. Membership becomes effective after payment of the initial membership dues.
