Mission:

To encourage collaboration among member companies in the healthcare sector enabling them to achieve common goals;

To generate ideas and promote solutions of mutual interest in the field of healthcare in Bulgaria;

To act as a mediator to build understanding between the Bulgarian
healthcare authorities and the members of the American Chamber of
Commerce in Bulgaria;

To increase the popularity of the American Chamber of Commerce in
Bulgaria among the stakeholders in the Bulgarian healthcare system.
Goals:

To act as a representative body of the member companies in the field of healthcare;

To promote and protect the interests of the member companies;

To promote and protect the IPR interests of the American companies;

To create business alliances and improved investment opportunities with
workable solutions for cooperation between Bulgarian and US investors;

To establish and maintain efficient relationships with the key
stakeholders (Government, Parliament, Insurance funds, local
authorities, medical societies, etc.);

To partner with the Bulgarian healthcare authorities in the development
of a common strategy on the healthcare reform sharing best practices
among member companies and with the Bulgarian stakeholders;

To partner and work with other business organizations with mutual interests;

To work for public policies and appropriate financing, which encourage
access to medicines in an open and competitive marketplace and allow
sufficient returns to foster continued innovation;

To support the development of public/private partnerships in the field of healthcare.
