The EU Affairs Committee is chaired by the Public Affairs Committee at present.

Mission:
The mission of the EU Committee of AmCham Bulgaria is to contribute to
the successful accession and integration of R Bulgaria to the European
Union, to promote Euro-Atlantic cooperation by becoming an active
discussion forum, a source of reliable and practical information and an
active contact point for AmCham members on all issues related to the
European Union.
General objectives of EU Affairs Committee:
- To gather and disseminate EU-related information;
- To organize EU-related events (seminars, workshops);
- To promote, with the means it has, good Euro-Atlantic relations;
- To define AmCham members’ interests concerning EU issues and identify channels to communicate them to local and Brussels officials, thereby influencing national level and EU policy-making;
- To discuss and propose new AmCham services in the areas concerned;
- To foster dialogue between:
AmCham and Bulgarian mission to the EU in Brussels;
AmCham and EU administration in Brussels;
AmCham and Interest Representations in the EU, especially AmCham EU;
AmChams in Europe, especially those in the new EU Member states and accession countries.
