Toastmasters Club
Our Mission
To provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.
Background
The current AmCham Toastmasters Club is the result of a peculiar merger. The enthusiasm for public speaking of the members of the former AmCham Toastmasters Club, established in 2000 and closed in 2004, was added to the experience of the Sofia Toastmasters Club, established in the beginning of 2000. The resulting club was established in the summer of 2005 and has taken a name honoring its sponsor - the American Chamber of Commerce.
During the years the AmCham Toastmasters Club has been chaired by:

In chronological order, the Sofia Toastmasters Club was presided by:

• Georgi Benev (2003 - 2005)
On June 1st, 2005 AmCham Toastmasters was re-launched under the clever guidance of its new chair Kenny Volandes, Commercial Law Reform Program.
In a lively, game-like atmosphere the chair and the former chair of the club Christa Hunter provoked the participants with language riddles.
Meetings
The AmCham Toastmasters Club organizes its regular meetings biweekly – every second and forth Wednesday of the month. The club is open for everyone willing to improve and develop his/her leadership and communicational skills.
