Member-to-Member Discount Program
Background
Member-to-member Discount Programs are carried out in a number of Chambers throughout the American Chambers of Commerce international network. According to the experience shared by other AmChams in the Southeast Europe region, all participants in the programs report increased sales volumes and appreciate this AmCham initiative as a prestigious promotional vehicle.
AmCham Bulgaria is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2004. Over the years, AmCham has been growing rapidly, enhancing its reputation as the business network of the leading companies operating in this country.
In line with its mission, AmCham Bulgaria provides to its members various opportunities for networking, promotion, advertising and business development, including events like seminars, conferences, Business after Hours, AmCham publications, etc. The launch of the Member-to-Member Discount Program will provide AmCham Bulgaria members with a new platform for networking.
Business Objective
• To provide members with a new platform for networking in line with AmCham mission
• To provide members with an exclusive opportunity for product brand promotion as well as for raising corporate and product brand awareness in the AmCham community;
• To further enhance the Chamber’s reputation as the leading business network in Bulgaria.

M2M Discount Program Mechanics:
Discounts:
As part of the Program, member companies can offer products or services to ALL AmCham members at special discounts. The rates of the discounts are to be determined by the Program members.
In addition, the Program allows all AmCham members, no matter whether they participate in the Program or not, to benefit from the discounts on various products and services provided by fellow members.
M2M Discount Cards:
Special M2M Discount Cards issued by AmCham Bulgaria to ALL AmCham members is the symbol of the Program. The cards are valid for one year and renewable. The discounts are granted upon presentation of M2M Discount Cards.
Two types of M2M Cards are issued by the Chamber to all member companies:
- Corporate M2M Discount Cards – to be issued in the name of the company; can be delegated to any company representative
- VIP M2M Discount Cards – to be issued in the name of the No. 1 executive in the member company
How to join the Program:
The members willing to join the Program and offer their products/services at special discount to all AmCham members have:
- to inform AmCham office in writing: product, discounts, contact details
- to provide logo (size, format tbc) and short announcement of the discounts
How to obtain discounts?
All members, no matter whether they provide discounts as part of the Program or not, can obtain discounts. Members can find information about the discounts as well as contact details in the M2M Section on www.amcham.bg.
Changes in discount rates:
M2M Discount Program participants can change the discount rates. AmCham office has to be informed in writing and the changes will be announced in AmCham Daily News and on the website.
How to quit the Program:
The members need to inform AmCham Bulgaria office in writing about their decision to quit the program. An announcement will be made in AmCham Daily News and the advertisement will be removed from the AmCham website.
M2M Discount Program Identity:

The program is having a special logo, consistent with the AmCham Bulgaria brand identity, and all materials relating to the program will be branded.
